Cancer Voices NSW AGM
Cancer Voices NSW Annual General Meeting was held online for the third year on 22 March via Zoom. Whilst we miss meeting face to face, the online format enabled our regional EC members to attend, We thank them for taking the time to attend. CVN member Graeme Gherashe kindly fulfilled the role of Returning Officer. The CVN 2022 Annual Report was presented and is available on our website.

Lee Hunt chose not to renominate for the CVN EC for 2023. Lee remains a member and is still engaged in various activities. Lee was thanked for her contribution which included her role coordinating our Consumer Involvement in Research (CIR) Program from late 2015 to 2020.
We welcome Lesley McQuire and Karen Martin to the 2023 CVN EC. Both joined CVN in the later part of 2022 and spent time getting to know us and have already contributed to various activities. Lesley is a retired health professional and also worked with NSW Health. She has had many years experience as a consumer advocate for gynaecological cancers including on boards and advisory committees Karen is also an experienced consumer and brings a regional and rural perspective. We welcome the fresh eyes and experience that both bring to the EC and we all look forward to working with them.
